The workshops will be focused around today's most used languages and programs for those at the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Cathy Beech Kenyatta Powers Jon Biedermann Natalie Nagele Tariq Hook Vidur Bhatnagar Ryan Riess Erin Janklow Cathy Beech Cathy is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where she is responsible for the Information Security Program, which includes cybersecurity, risk and compliance, threat and vulnerability management, incident response, and security awareness and training. She is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). She has extensive experience in various industries and currently serves on executive governing body forums on privacy and security. Cathy was a recipient of the 2017 Breakaway Leadership Award at the Global CISO Executive Summit. HUE - A Tech Summit for Women of Color More Info Kenyatta Powers Kenyatta Powers is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Department of Human Services in Maryland State Government. She has worked in State Government for almost 19 years in which 13 of those years in Executive Leadership. As CIO, Kenyatta provides innovative and state of the art technology guidance and support to the State of Maryland. She also manages an Enterprise environment that includes a $65 million annual budget, almost 400 IT staff, supports over 7000 end-users in over 100 locations across the state. She is currently managing a separate three-year $195 million project to modernize all IT computer systems for the department. Kenyatta is a mentor and provides teaching and guidance in Professional Development and was recently recognized for outstanding leadership in Information Technology. Kenyatta is also passionate about Community Development in which she is an active member of the Missionary Society and Feed the Hungry Program to support the community. In 2001, he launched the online version DonorPerfect, which pioneered SaaS (Software as a Service) fundraising solutions for nonprofit organizations. In 2006, he helped form the Fundraising Effectiveness Project and in 2012, he spearheaded the formation of the Growth in Giving Initiative with AFP and the Urban Institute. He has conducted dozens of sessions about nonprofit technology both in the US and Internationally. Jon currently sits on the boards of several youth-oriented charities and serves as a board member for both the The Giving Institute and The Giving USA Foundation.
